How to Add a YouTube Video to Your Blog

You can embed a YouTube video into any page or blog post on your website.  All  it takes is a few simple steps.  In this tutorial, we'll show you had to add the YouTube video when posting a blog.  But, the same steps would apply when adding a video to a page.

1) Go to the you tube video that you wish to add

2) Locate and copy the Embed code provided by YouTube.  To do that, follow the steps below.

     a) Go to your YouTube video

     b) Below the video, click the Share button

     c) Below that, click the Embed button - See screenshot below

3) Copy the embed code provided by YouTube

4) Login to the back end of your website

5) From the left side navigation, go to Blogging >> New Post

6) Name the blog whatever you want 

7) Make sure you are on the "Text" tab of the blog post

8) Add any text or other element you'd like to show up before the video

9) Paste the Embed code that you copied from YouTube

10) Add any text or other elements you'd like to show up after the video

11) Click Publish

You've now added a blog post with a video in it.  You can preview the post using the preview button, located just above the publish button.  Depending on the time of your post, it could take up to 24 hours for your blog post to show up on the front end of the website.  This is because our servers will need to completely update before the post will show.
