Adding Images & PDFs to a Page
This tutorial will help you to add photos/PDFs/hyperlinks to any of your blog posts or pages. The process for adding either one of these is very and can really visually improve your writings.
1. You will first need to login into your site.
2. You’ll then hover over ‘Blog’ on the left side. It will expand and you will choose ‘Blog Posts’
- If you plan to edit a page on the site, hover over ‘Website’ then ‘Pages’
3. You will then be shown a list of posts/pages/communities that are already on the site. Find the title you are adding the image to, and click on the name (or ‘edit’ under the name).
- If you are creating a new post entirely, click ‘add new’ in the top left corner.
4. Now you are in the page/post/topic editing page. Here is where you will edit the content of the post/page.
- You will then click the “add media” button on the top left corner of the editing box.
5. You will then see the upload screen.
- Click the ‘Select Files’ to open a dialog for choosing an image/PDF from your computer’s memory.
- Or click on the ‘Media Library’ button to add an image you’ve uploaded in the past.
6. After you’ve selected the photo/pdf you want to insert,
- You must choose a smaller size photo if you are inserting it directly into your post.
- Click ‘Insert into post’
7. You will then see it as it will appear in your post.
