Adding YouTube Videos to Your Website

1.  Log into your site’s dashboard and navigate to ‘Website’ → ‘Pages’ from the menu on the left side of the screen.

  • To edit a blog post, navigate to ‘Blog’




2.  In the next screen, you will see a list of your pages/posts.  Choose the one you will be editing by clicking on the name or ‘edit’.


  • You can also add a new page from this screen.

  • After selecting the article, you will be able to edit the page.




4.  In a new tab or browser window, go to youtube.com and select the video.  When the video is playing, look under the video and click the ‘Share’ button.


  • Then click the ‘Embed’ button to view the code we will copy.

  • Highlight the code that was displayed, then ‘right click’ → copy

  • Under the code, you can change the size of the video when it is displayed




5.  Now return to editing the page on your site. First, click the “HTML” button in the top right corner of the text editor.




6.  Then simply paste the code we got from youtube on your page.


  • Note: The position of my cursor will dictate where, in the article, the video will appear.




7. Now click ‘Publish’ or 'Update' on the right side of the screen.
