Using Godaddy to map a domain
Go to Godaddy.com and login. Click on My Account
Under domains select launch and then click on the domain you wish to use.
Once on the domain details page there is a section in the center bottom that says DNS Manager. Click on Launch.
You will be directed to another page. From that page you will need to change the A record. Change the number to: 96.126.119.195
Make sure there is only one A record.
Click on save zone file. Once you have saved it make sure that the IP address or A record is this number: 96.126.119.195
Last step is to email us your domain address and let us know you have completed these steps. We just have to map the domain on our servers in order for it to work.
If you have any other questions about doing this you can always give Godaddy a call and they can walk you through the steps. Thanks!
You will then need to add the domain on the site and on our network. Don’t forget to refresh the network

Mapping, Forwarding, Forwarding with Masking a Domain
There are three ways to forward a domain: Forward, Forward with Masking, Domain Mapping
Forward: Forwarding a domain meaning that when you type in the URL or domain you want, you are taken to your inside-real-estate.com site. For example: If you want to have the domain myhomes.com and forward that domain someone can type in that domain and it will take them to inside-real-estate.com/johnsmith. If they type in inside-real-estate.com/johnsmith it will take them to that site. The domain/URL myhomes.com will not show up in the URL but will appear as inside-real-estate.com/johnsmith.
Forward with Masking: This means that you are still on our network but instead of inside-real-estate.com/johnsmith showing up in the URL the domain you want shows up. So you will see myhomes.com on each page. That also means that when you travel to other pages on your site it will still show up as myhomes.com instead of myhomes.com/blog or myhomes.com/aboutme etc. This is because you are just hiding inside-real-estate.com/johnsmith
Domain Mapping: This is the preferred method and what we do for most sites. The agents lose some of the SEO for our network but in the long run it is better for them as they are building the SEO for their domain. Domain mapping means that when you type in myhomes.com and then go to other pages on the site it will be myhomes.com/blog or myhomes.com/about-me.
